Does Jeff make use of open-source software?

Yes. Jeff uses MASShortcut, Rebel, INPopoverController, RSVerticallyCenteredTextFieldCell (what a mouthful), Pop and Gifsicle (in order to comply with its GPLv2 license, the source used to build the binary included with Jeff is available here).
