United Road is the premier automotive transport expert in North America. As such, they ship 4M+ vehicles to 10K+ North American customers each year. To continue maximizing their growth and productivity, United Road needed guidance and support on how to better leverage their marketing and sales enablement technology.

Digital Solution

To help United Road, R&P provided business and systems analysis, Salesforce architecture planning and development, UI/UX design, and QA services. Our first step was interviewing business stakeholders and assessing the existing Salesforce functionality and processes.We then provided tactical recommendations for improvement, including a technical architecture diagram and detailed project plan. From there, R&P integrated 3 separate systems for United Road – including an external pricing engine and legacy ordering system – into 1 custom interface powered by Salesforce CPQ.

A Far Better Way

United Road team members can now easily create complex multi-vehicle quotes that reflect specific shipping preferences and vehicle attributes (which can be entered manually or decoded from a VIN). Staff can submit quotes to the legacy ordering system with a single click, with orders synced to Salesforce, where the sales team can quickly make updates and get tracking information for customers.
